Laura Andrés. “Venus”

Pianist and composer LAURA ANDRÉS begins her summer tour with VENUS, her new album. An artistic, emotional and musical experience. Laura is a great storyteller, and thanks to impeccable musicality, a voluptuous sound with accompaniments of orders, violin and electronic loops, she takes us to a world of emotion and sensitivity that captures the spectators. Laura addresses the public so naturally that the concerts become an experience to feel very close to the artist and explore our own emotional world. The trip to VENUS aims to be a trip to outer space which, as always, responds to an inner space. As it is above, so it is below, as it is without, it is within.

The piano, the latent heart of this journey, intertwines with electronic, modern and captivating sounds, transporting us beyond known time and space. Accompanied by violin melodies and string textures, it takes us to places that share the emotional and precious sensibility of references such as Olafur Arnalds, Ludovico Einaudi or Yann Tiersen, “but from km0”, says the artist herself.

At the end of this journey, we are not the same as at the beginning. VENUS changes us, hits us, transforms us. And above all, it provides us with a good dose of happiness through art. Because art humanizes us, sensitizes us and makes us happier beings.
